CRYSTAL FALLS – Crystal Theatre welcomes three Forest Park graduates back to the stage to “Celebrate Me Home” Saturday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. Performing with Mark Oliverius, Larry Ketola and Paul Sundquist are The Nashville Hitman with vocalist Mia Brown.

The Nashville Hitmen kicked off Crystal Theatre’s summer season and are returning for the final concert of 2023. More than 400 fans enjoyed hearing “That 70s Music” in June. This time their setlist includes songs from The Beach Boys, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, Amy Grant and Kenny Loggins, along with beautiful holiday classics.
After high school graduation, Oliverius attended Michigan State where he earned a BA in Music Education. In 1989, he started his own music and video production/publishing company in Nashville. Oliverius Music Group helps musical artists, singers and entertainers market themselves to record labels and radio stations.

Like Oliverius, Ketola graduated from Forest Park in 1977. He has lived and worked in the Crystal Falls/Amasa area all his life. Anyone who has heard Ketola perform is happy that music has been his avocation since high school.

Over the past 50 years, Sundquist has performed with several local bands and countless ensembles and venues in the Upper Midwest. He continues to be an accomplished guitar and bass guitar player, singer and songwriter.

Featured vocalist with the Nashville Hitmen, Mia Brown was born and raised in Wausau, Wisconsin. Brown has been working with musical director/producer Oliverius on her debut project for about two years. She recently signed with Big Timber Entertainment, co-founded by Oliverius.

Tickets for “Celebrate Me Home” are available online at thecrystaltheatre.org, by phone at 906-875-3208 or in person at Stage Left Mon. - Fri., 9 a.m. to noon.
