Local golfers win titles

The Iron River County Club Women’s Twilight League held a U.P.-wide tournament on June 29. Thirty-six women from around the U.P. competed in the event, which included a turkey meal afterward. Gail Passamoni and Marla Busakowski won the second flight title with an 89. Jill Sabotta and Patti Sabotta captured the first flight championship with a 71.
