CRYSTAL FALLS — Daniel “Dano” Joseph Benishek, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 15, 2021. A Funeral Mass was held on Oct. 23, at St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. IRON RIVER — Gisela L. Schiltz, age 80, passed away peacefully on Oct. 19, 2021, surrounded by family. A small family celebration will be held sometime in the future. Services entrusted to Central Carolina Cremations.

CRYSTAL FALLS — Edward C. Davis Sr., age 58, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at U.P. Health System-Marquette. Visitation will be held on Oct. 29, 2021, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Jacobs Funeral Home Inc. of Iron River. A memorial service will follow at noon with Rev. Mark Mattson to officiate. PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — Frank Douglas Hanson, age 93, died at Edenbrook in Platteville, on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021. Frank was born Oct. 10, 1928, in Iron River.
