Smear tourney to be held March 19

FLORENCE, Wis. — It’s that time of year again when the Florence County Fair will be holding another smear tournament on Saturday, March 19, at the Florence Community Center.
Registration for the Tournament will begin at 5 p.m. with the tournament starting at 6 p.m.  The fee to enter is $10 per person. They are two-person teams playing a 4-point smear game.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st to 5th places. There will also be door prizes drawn after the tournament.
A small luncheon will be available for purchase along with beverages. Bake sale items provided by local bakers will be available as well. Chips and pretzels will be provided. No carry-ins admitted.
All proceeds will go to support the building and ground improvements at the Fair Park.
