Michael Martinson

IRON RIVER — Michael A. Martinson, 75, passed away on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Visitation was held on Sept. 3, at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Iron River. A funeral service followed with David Carlisle having officiated. Bonnie Rieckhoff

CARSON CITY, Nev. — Bonnie Gail (Hookanson) Rieckhoff, 83, passed on Aug. 21, 2022. She died peacefully in her sleep, with her husband and family at her side. Bonnie had been beating back cancer for a couple years and died of complicating conditions from an immune system worn out from fighting. A mover and doer her entire life, it was only in the last couple months where she gave herself a break to rest.

John Ketola

CRYSTAL FALLS — John Arthur Ketola, 47, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with his mother Arline at his side on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Spectrum Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. A celebration of life for John will be Saturday, Sept. 17, at 349 Parks Farm Road, Amasa, starting at 2 p.m. Condolences to the family of John Arthur Ketola may be expressed online at www.nashfuneralhome.net. Bertha Leonard

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Bertha “Bert” Frances Leonard passed away on Aug. 29, 2022, in Rockledge, Fla. Her ashes will be interred along with those of her beloved husband, when he passes, at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. A joint memorial will be held at that time.
