Barbara Trevarton

MARQUETTE — Our member of the greatest generation, Barbara Isabel (Meyer) Trevarton, 94, of Marquette, Crystal Falls and Troy, passed away in the loving hands of Linda, Gary, Greg and Christa on Jan. 7, 2023. Honoring her wishes, Barb will be buried with a private family service in Iron River’s Resthaven Cemetery with her husband, Ken, at her side. Memorials may be contributed to one of her favorite organizations: Friends of Camp BATAWAGAMA, P.O. STEPHENSON — Mary Eileen Schoen Balfour, 74, died on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home is assisting the family. ALVIN, Wis. — Terry Lee Stapleton, 64, better known as Sprout, passed away at his home Jan. 7, 2023. Memorial services were held on Jan. 15 at the Little White Church in Alvin.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Alvin, in the spring. Condolences and memorial contributions can be sent c/o Little White Church, 7900 4th St., Alvin, WI 54542.

Michael Willis

IRON RIVER — Michael J. Willis, 62, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at UP Health Marquette, with his family and friends at his side. CRYSTAL FALLS — Bradley D. “Peach” Schultz, 65, passed away Jan. 1, 2023, in Green Bay, Wis. The family has planned a memorial service Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls. A Luncheon will be served following the service.

Katherine Shubat-Yee

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — Katherine Lynn Shubat-Yee, 70, passed away at home on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, after a three-year battle with ALS. Please join us as we celebrate Kathy’s life on Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. with a visitation the hour before Mass at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429.
