Donald Johnson

PERU, Ill. — Donald V. Johnson, 100, formerly of Amasa, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, in Princeton, Ill. Memorial services were held Feb. 18, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru. The service followed visitation, with Rev. Tom Redig, pastor having officiated. Full military rites were conducted by the LaSalle-Oglesby Veterans Memorial Group. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations in Donald’s honor to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Peru or the Lewy Body Dementia Association (lbda.org). IRON RIVER — Robert L. Symmonds, 90, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023. Visitation was held Feb. 17 at the Jacobs Funeral Home.
