Forest Park awards Jack with the Arion Award

CRYSTAL FALLS – Forest Park had their spring band concert April 19.  Jack Gasperich, was awarded the Arion Award.
What is the Arion Award in high school? The Arion Award is earned by the top performing student in the entire High School Band - the most outstanding player of the outstanding players. These students demonstrated exceptional performing ability and musicianship. At Forest Park they have the Band students vote on it. 
But the neat thing is Jack’s Great Uncle, Max Woelffer, won the same award 68 years prior in 1955. Max brought his award with him and here are the two of them wearing their medals.
