Iron County Locker Lunch program receives donation

IRON COUNTY - The Greater Iron Mountain Kingsford Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Association has made a $500 donation to the Iron County Locker Lunch program. This program working with the West Iron County and Forest Park schools serve bagged lunches to help sustain children that may have little or no access to food over the weekend. 
Every week, Locker Lunch fills each bag with approximately 11 items for each child. These items might include two breakfast cereals, two lunches, fruits, bars and snacks. All items are individually wrapped and shelf stable. The program serves approximately 130-150 students, numbers vary yearly each weekend throughout the school year.
