CRYSTAL FALLS - Mr. Zack Osborn from Keweenaw Mushrooms will host a Mushroom Growing Workshop Tuesday, June 11 at 6 p.m. All are invited to attend, and the workshop is free of charge.
Crystal Falls District Community Library will host its 2nd Annual Cooking Contest Thursday, June 13 at 6 p.m. Individuals and/or families are invited to join. You must register by 5 p.m. June 10 if you would like to enter. Contestants will pick up their bag Wednesday, June 12 at 5 p.m. that will include five ingredients that must appear in the dish. They will have the next 24 hours to create their masterpiece which they will bring to be judged by cooks from the Amasa and Crystal Falls Senior Centers during the Cooking Contest Event that will run Thursday, June 13 from 6-7 p.m. After the food is judged and prizes are awarded, the audience will be able to sample the dishes. Please join us for the fun.
