Bruce Sartorelli

IRON RIVER — Bruce M. Sartorelli, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at his home.

He was born on March 14, 1954, in Stambaugh, the son of the late Warren and Carmen (Pretto) Sartorelli-Nardi. Bruce attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the class of 1972. He then earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.

Bruce married Kathy Marcell on Dec. 20, 1975, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River. The couple celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary in 2019.

He was employed as a road construction estimator for Hebert Construction Company. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian, the Men’s Club of St. Cecilia and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, bocce ball and watching the Green Bay Packers.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Jeff (Andra) Sartorelli of Green Bay, Wis.; daughter, Kelly Sartorelli of Gaastra; grandchildren, Amy, Ava and Aubrey Richardson of Gaastra, and Owen and Drew Sartorelli of Green Bay; great-granddaughter, Vivian Rose; brother, Mark (Jan) Sartorelli of Appleton, Wis.; sister, Christine (Carl) Anderson of Houghton; stepsister, Suzanne (Tim) Olson of Appleton; brothers-in-law, Duane (Jan) Marcell of Greendale, Wis. and Michael (Renee) Marcell of Waukesha, Wis.; step brother-in-law, John Cozzuol of Appleton; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepsister, Janet Cozzuol.
