CRYSTAL FALLS — Carl Joseph Schwedler (Joe), died March 12, 2022, in Port Austin. The cause was kidney cancer. A celebration of life will take place in Crystal Falls this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Iron County Little League, 106 Elm Grove Lane, Crystal Falls, Michigan 49920.

Beverly Modory

TREVOR, Wis. — Beverly Ann Modory, age 83, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at UP Health System Marquette. Visitation was held on March 18, at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral service followed at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Rev. George Browder

CRYSTAL FALLS — On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, George Richard “Dick” Browder traded his wheelchair for a set of wings, flew straight through the Pearly Gates and into the welcoming arms of his Rossi, Browder, Anesi and Bushroe relatives. A memorial service will be held in early summer, followed by burial in the Rossi Family Plot. IRON RIVER — Austin Lee Carlson, 26, died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Visitation will be from 9 - 11 a.m. on Friday, March 25, at First Baptist Church of Iron River with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
