Mary Ann Flood

CRYSTAL FALLS — On March 29, 2023, Mary Ann Flood, 78, received her angel wings and ascended into heaven into the waiting arms of her mom and dad, Bob and Jeana Flood. Friends called on April 2 at the Nash Funeral Home of Crystal Falls and on April 3 at the funeral home. Funeral services were held on April 3 at the Guardian Angels Church. Father Daniel Malone offered the Mass of Christian Burial. 
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Condolence to the family of Mary Ann Flood may be expressed online at www.nashfuneralhome.net. The family has entrusted the Nash Funeral Home of Crystal Falls with the arrangements.

John Carter II

IRON RIVER — John Edward Carter II, 39, went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Visitation was held April 6 at the Carney Evangelical Free Church followed by his funeral service, with pastor Tim Hall having officiated. Burial will be in the spring in Maple Grove Cemetery, Oakwood. In lieu of flowers, any acts of kindness or sympathy may be directed to Melissa Carter. Alton Beck

CRYSTAL FALLS — Alton Charles Beck, 91, lost his battle with Alzheimer’s Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m., at the Tufts Rondon VFW, Crystal Falls. Terri Kovacich-Shovald

COEUR D’ ALENE, Idaho — Terri Ann Kovacich-Shovald, 62, devoted mother and loving wife, formerly of Iron River, passed away on April 2, 2023, in Coeur d’ Alene, following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. A celebration of life will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave, Post Falls, Idaho, on Friday, May 12, at 1 p.m. Deacon Chris Stewart of St. Pius X will officiate. Bell Tower Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kootenai Health Cancer Services and especially Hospice of North Idaho. Donations may be made to North Idaho Hospice in her memory.

Rhea Hendershott

CRYSTAL FALLS — Rhea Jean Hendershott, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Visitation was held April 11 at the Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Memorial service followed, with Pastor Vicky Prewitt having officiated. Memorials may be made in her memory. Alice Strom

IRON RIVER — Alice V. Strom, 92, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Iron River Care Center. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at First Lutheran Church. Funeral will follow at noon with Vicar Lance Crevier to officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Alice V. Diane Stewart

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Diane Antoinette Stewart, nee Johnson, was a wife, a mother, a sister, a dental hygienist, a tax auditor, a cook, an electrician, an artist and a friend. She died in peace at home on March 10, 2023.
