PALMETTO, Fla. — Dave Lee Thomas died Feb. 28, 2022, after a tough two-year battle with cancer. A celebration of Dave’s well-lived life will take place at a later date to be announced.

CRYSTAL FALLS — John C. Abbey, 90, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Visitation was held April 1, at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. The Funeral Mass followed at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Fr. Daniel Malone officiated. Burial will take place in Hematite Cemetery in the spring, followed by a celebration of life. GAASTRA— Mildred M. Anderson, age 92, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022.     A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian, with Rev. Jose Cherian to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Mildred will be laid to rest and reunited with her husband at the Stambaugh Cemetery in Iron River. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Mildred M. DUBUQUE, Iowa — Grace (Johnson) Riley, daughter of Alvin and Hilma Johnson, passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 99. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1755 Delhi Street, Dubuque, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.  Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
