IRON RIVER — Patricia A. Hebert, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Aspirus Hospital in Iron River. A Celebration of Life will be held in July. HANCOCK — Robert Veeser, age 95, passed away at the Omega House in Houghton on Monday, May 3, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection on May 7, with Reverend Father William Ssozi officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock. His family sends a special thank you to the caring staff at the Omega House. The O’Neill-Dennis Funeral Home of Hancock is in charge of the arrangements. FLORENCE, Wis. — Josephine Antoinette Syrjanen, age 98, passed away on October 22, 2020, at Dickinson County Hospital in Iron Mountain. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Florence. A memorial mass will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Fr. Robert Chinnapan officiating and Sister Marla Clercx Homilist. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain. Wearing of mask’s during the visitation and mass would be appreciated.
