Eugene Yackel
IRON RIVER — Eugene “Gene” E. Yackel, age 77, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 202,1 at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sunset Lake Pavilion on Thursday, July 8 at 2 p.m. with the West Side Veterans to accord Military Rites.
Interment will be in the Bates Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to local Veterans organizations of your choice.

Jerome Bemis
MARQUETTE — Jerome P. Bemis, age 84, formerly of Iron River, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the D. J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette.
Visitation was held on June 7 at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. A Liturgy of the Word service followed with Rev. Gregory Veneklase officiating.
Interment was at Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River, where the West Side Veterans accorded Military Rites at the graveside.

Jacqueline Bomaster
GAASTRA — Jacqueline “Jackie” Bomaster, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, private family services will be held.
Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

Lawrence Engstrom
CRYSTAL FALLS — Lawrence S. Engstrom, 68, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
At the request of Larry’s family there will be no services at this time.
