CRYSTAL FALLS — Ronald D. Sherwood, age 88 of Crystal Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021. Ron requested a private burial which will occur at a later date. A gathering to celebrate the life of Ron Sherwood is being planned for later this fall. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations may be made to the Chippewa Sno-Kats Trail Club at P.O. Box 124, Crystal Falls, MI, 49920 and/or the Iron Range Trail Club at 11 W. Maple St., Iron River, MI 49935.

Frances Creegan
PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Frances Casari Creegan, 97, passed away on Aug. 24, 202,1 at Solaris Health Care. Visitation took place on Aug. 29, at Dobies Funeral Home in Hudson, Fla. A funeral service was held on Aug. 30, at the funeral home. Burial was at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. next to her husband, Hugh Creegan and near her beloved sister, Agnes (Casari, Goehring) Hirsch. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Pasco Sheriff’s Charities Inc., 8700 Citizens Dr., New Port Richey, FL 34654 or Saint James the Apostle Church, 8400 Monarch Dr., Port Richey, FL 34668.

Robert Ahola
CRYSTAL FALLS — Robert Charles Ahola, 74, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at his home with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Friday, Sept. 10th at 5 p.m. at Bob and Weezie’s home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Crystal Falls. Condolences to the family of Robert “Bob” Ahola may be expressed online at www.nashfuneralhome.net. George Holkup
CRYSTAL FALLS— Mr. George Allan Holkup, 93, passed away on Aug. 30, 2021, at the Iron County Medical Facility with his family by his side. In lieu of flowers, memorials in George’s memory can be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
