Robert Varney

JACKSON —Robert Varney passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at Henry Ford Hospice House.

Robert was born Jan. 17, 1939.

He is survived by his wife, Carole; granddaughter, Brittney (Derrick) Gales; and greatgrandchildren, Julia and Lucas Gales, all of Jackson; and a sister, Patricia Karvala of California.

Robert was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Varney and daughter, Julie Varney, both of Jackson; brothers, Wallace (Joan) Varney and William Varney; and sister, Margret Gendron.

Robert retired from Eaton Aeroquip with 35 years of service. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place and a service is planned at a later date.
