IRON RIVER— The Friends of Camp Gibbs 2023 Hunters Banquet will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18 at The Armory. Doors open at 5 p.m. with dinner being served at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the banquet are $30 each, and that includes entry to the banquet, dinner, access to raffles and silent auctions.
This year’s Triple Crown will feature a Henry Big Boy Brass .44 Mag, Mossberg 940 JM Pro Snow Goose 12 gauge and TenPoint Titan M1 Crossbow. One ticket wins all three prizes. You do not need to be present to win the Triple Crown Raffle. Tickets are available at Bump’s Burger and the Wooden Nickel for $10 per ticket or $20 for 3 tickets.
Banquet tickets are available at Bump’s Burger and the Wooden Nickel. All money raised at the banquet is used for buildings and grounds improvements. Come and share in the camaraderie with hunters from all walks of life. We are looking forward to seeing new and old friends at our one and only fundraiser of the year.
Camp Gibbs is currently home to a public archery club that boasts indoor and outdoor ranges, a shotgun club that hosts trap shooting in season where kids shoot free, a public outdoor rifle and pistol range and an indoor pistol range.
Camp Gibbs is located 7.3 miles north of U.S. 2 on Gibbs City Road.
