The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has announced office hours and available services for two field offices in Crystal Falls in Iron County and Norway in Dickinson County.
Both the DNR field offices are located within the Central Time Zone and provide a range of visitor services during lobby hours.
The Crystal Falls office is located at 1420 U.S. Highway 2 West. The lobby is open weekdays, except Tuesday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The office is typically closed from noon until 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
The Crystal Falls office lobby has a great collection of taxidermy for visitors to enjoy.
Both field offices provide brochures, posters, maps, souvenirs for kids, along with information on wildlife, fish, forestry, parks, recreation and related regulations.
DNR staffers also sell all fishing and hunting licenses, resident and non-resident recreation passports (cash or check only for passports) and fuelwood permits. The locations also provide registration for furbearers and bears.
The Norway office is located at 520 U.S. Highway 2 West. The lobby is typically open Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The office is closed from noon to 12:30 p.m. for lunch.
