MICHIGAN DNR - After ice and snow cover melt on Michigan lakes this spring, it may be more likely for people to discover dead fish or other aquatic animals.

MICHIGAN – Enrollment for the Michigan Clean Water Corps (MiCorps) Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP) is now open for the 2023 sampling season. 

ESCANABA – It will be at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba, as part of the 64th Annual National Trappers Association Convention hosted by the U.P. Trappers Association (NTA) July 27-29.

Warmer weather has arrived in some parts of the state and is coming soon to the rest.

IRON RIVER – The Iron County Hunter Safety 2023 classes will be held at the West Iron County High School cafeteria at 701 Nick Baumgartner Way.

MICHIGAN - The new fishing license and regulation season kicked off April 1, so anglers need to be sure they have purchased a new license in order to enjoy Michigan’s great fishing opportunities.
