Editor’s note on football coverage

In January 2021, the Iron County Reporter changed its press schedule from Monday press dates to Fridays. Therefore, the Reporter’s deadline to send the upcoming edition of the paper to the printer in Janesville is now Friday at 4 p.m.

As a result, coverage of Friday night high school football will change because the games will not have taken place by the deadline for the next issue.

Therefore, the Reporter plans to post a short recap of the game and photos of the just completed game on our Facebook page on Mondays. Presently, the Reporter will attempt to provide additional information on each game, including quotes from the coaches and players, in the subsequent issue of the print edition of the Reporter.

All sporting events that take place earlier in the week will be published as they have been in the past.
