Iron Area Health Foundation Golf Scramble viewed as Huge Success

The Iron Area Health Foundation’s 1st Annual Golf Scramble Fundraiser was halde on Sunday June 4 at Young’s Recreational Complex.  The golf scramble fundraiser was viewed as a huge success by the foundation’s organizing committee. Twenty six, four person teams participated in the golf scramble fundraiser. In addition to the eighteen holes of golf, participants also had the opportunity to participate in numerous other raffles and competitive events during the day.  Top scores for the day were Sabotta, Richards, Ellis, Specker with a 15 under par 57 for 18 holes. Pigeon, Neuens, Pigeon, Dacheff with a 13 under par 59 for 18 holes and Swanson, Simonis, Ashbeck, Ashbeck with a 11 under par 61 for 18 holes. 
The Iron Area Health Foundation wants to thank all of the participants, volunteer workers, hole sponsors, major sponsor, donations and the staff at Young’s Recreational Complex for their role in making this event a huge success. All proceeds from the golf scramble will be used to support healthy living initiatives for the residents of Iron County.
