IRON RIVER – Spring-R-Roo Gymnastics. Ava Bortolini from Crystal Falls competed in the Excel Silver Senior Division on Jan. 28 at the Lumber Jill Invite in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and received an 8.6 on Vault (3rd place), a 9.25 on Bars (2nd place), a 9.25 on Beam (1st place), a 8.8 on Floor (1st place) and a 35.9 All Around (1st place). She also competed on March 25 at the Rainbow Spectacular Meet in Medford, Wisconsin and received an 8.9 on Vault, a 9.55 (1st place) on Bars, a 9.45 (3rd place on Beam, a 9.0 (2nd place) on Floor which gave her a 36.90 All Around (2nd place).
Maradee Simbob from Crystal Falls competed in the Excel Siver Jr. A division at the Lumber Jill Invite in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and received an 8.95 on Vault (2nd place), a 9.05 on Bars (3rd place), an 8.95 on Beam (2nd place), an 8.0 on Floor, which gave her a 34.95, All around (3rd place). She competed in at the Rainbow Spectacular Meet in Medford, Wisconsin and received a 9.05 on Vault (4th place), a 9.4 on Bars (3rd place), a 9.6 on Beam (2nd place), and an 8.7 on Floor (4th place), which gave her a 36.75 All Around (4th place).
Penelope Fleischman from Iron River competed in the Excel Bronze Division at the Rainbow Spectacular Meet in Medford, Wisconsin and received a Blue Achievement Ribbon on Vault with a 9.3, a Blue Ribbon on Bars with a 9.05, a Blue Ribbon on Beam with a 9.1, a Red Ribbon on Floor with an 8.3 which gave her an All-around Score of 35.75
