Christine “Chris” Heiskanen

MARQUETTE — Christine E. “Chris” Heiskanen, 74, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, July 20, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice. Even during her hardest days, Chris’ face would light up at the sight or sound of her grandson, Rowan. In the final years of her life, his joy, energy and love were her greatest comfort and the truest gift she could have ever received. Services for Chris were held July 29 at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
