Monday, May 20 the 4-H Young Pacesetters picked up garbage on their two-mile stretch on M-73. Eight bags were filled with all kinds of cans, bottles, plastic, paper, styrofoam and car parts.
CRYSTAL FALLS - The Forest Park class of 2024 celebrated its commencement on May 25 at the Eddie Chambers Gym with the graduation of 33 seniors.
IRON RIVER - The West Iron County class of 2024 celebrated its commencement on May 24 at Charles Greenlund Gymnasium with the graduation of 44 seniors.
CRYSTAL FALLS - Mr. Zack Osborn from Keweenaw Mushrooms will host a Mushroom Growing Workshop Tuesday, June 11 at 6 p.m. All are invited to attend, and the workshop is free of charge.
IRON COUNTY - The Iron County Band Camp will be held at Camp Batawagama June 16-22. All accepted students (notified by email) should arrive at camp Sunday, June 16 and register between 2 - 4 p.m.
BEECHWOOD - The public is invited to attend a Spring Gallery Style Art Show Saturday, June 8 from Noon – 4 p.m., to promote our local artists.
