IRON COUNTY — The Iron County Youth Soccer League will begin it’s 21st season this spring. Dave McCord, Advisory to the Board, has been involved for much of the league’s history.
Jace Hagglund (center) recently won the state championship for the 2022 Knights of Columbus free throw contest. Hagglund is a student at Forest Park and won the 11-year-old boys division. IRON COUNTY — The crack of baseball bats and the roar of the crowd will be heard once again as the Iron County Little League season begins.

The Knights of Columbus held its Free Throw Contest in Negaunee on March 13. Each winner won their Council and District competition, and advanced to the Regional competition in Negaunee.

IRON RIVER — The Windsor Center is the home of Winter Bocce Ball. This year, the league season began on Jan. 10, and ended on Feb. 22. The league consisted of eight teams.
