LANSING — The Michigan High School Athletic Association is accepting registrations online or by mail for game officials for the 2021-22 school year.

IRON RIVER — Registration is open now for the Friends of Camp Batawagama annual golf outing fundraiser to be held on Sunday, Aug. 29 at Young’s Recreation Complex in Iron River.

IRON RIVER — As befitting a U.P. champion, the West Iron County boys tennis team dominated the Division 2 all-U.P. team, as selected by the division’s coaches.

KINGSFORD — Recently graduated Forest Park senior distance runner Mason Rintala is no slacker. He runs approximately 11 miles every day, and on June 13, Rintala left to join the Army.
